Formed in 1974 by another Art Student(sounds familiar? Yeah I thought of the legendary Talking Heads too, and indeed they are a bit similar, but DEVO sounds more electronic...and alienated), DEVO is one of the coolest band alive. The style, the music and the vision, showing that they are the pioneer and is so interesting even for us now. They are performing in the coming Summer Sonic in Japan...I really want to see their performance!!! Think of them growing a bit old but still wearing the yellow jumpsuit with the red plastic Energy Domes jumping on stage!!! How fun would it be!!!
Dell computer just used their song as one of the TVC's theme...I think the DEVO song totally change their image...helped the presentation so much...
